The Largo series of Desks and Modular Office Furniture
The Largo range of office furniture produced by Dams International in Britain is a very popular range of 25mm office furniture . The success of Largo office furniture is based on a combination of Largo offering attractive furniture and great value. Largo furniture is extremely durable and functional and should give years of service. Largo is an excellent choice for both cost conscious firms or the home office furniture buyer.
Largo desks are available in only three basic shapes (L shaped, wave and rectangular desks) each in a choice of sizes. The Largo legs feature wire management from ground to desk. Over the years Largo desking has been manufactured in 6 different MFC wood colours. In 2010 the range has been limited to either beech, oak or maple woodgrain finish. The popular cherry and grey furniture was discontinued. The Largo furniture range could be purchased in pear though it could never be purchased as a highly fashionable white office furniture range.
If there is any drawback to using Largo office furniture, it is that the furniture features knock in nylon fixings on the underside of desk face which need cautious handling during assembly of the furniture to avoid over tightening. Largo furniture is constructed from 25mm MFC wood effect board tops. Largo furniture has a comprehensive range of office storage solutions including Largo cupboards, Largo bookcases, Largo pedestals and Largo filers.
Largo pedestals also go with Directiv desking also manufactured by Dams Furniture. The business office furniture market has swung firmly towards 25mm furniture products over the last few years which often looks much more expensive than 18mm furniture. Largo desks are only around 20% or 30% dearer than 18mm desking, but aesthetically they look a far superior quality and give a better impression. An important thing to note is that Largo desking products only come in standard metric sizes of 800mm deep with metric widths like 1200mm, 1400mm and 1800mm depending on the desk style.
Many contemporary workplaces now recognise the importance of having a relaxation area to relax from the stresses of daily office life. Relaxation areas are invariably used as an informal meeting point or just to chillax with a coffee. Furnishing a breakout area need not be expensive as it can simply be furnished with a few reception chairs and some nice coffee tables. If space is not available then as an an alternative the company canteen can be deployed instead by installing some attractive bistro tables. A businesses morale and productivity can be improved from a pleasant and harmonious workplace are universally understood.
